NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF ADDENDUM No. 1 & 2
Notice is hereby given that Addendum No. 1 & 2 has been issued and is available at the dropbox link found below.
Project: Southshore Parkway Completion
District:Southshore Metropolitan District No.1
The project consists of the construction of utilities, roadway, and drainage for the Southshore Metropolitan District No. 1. The project is located in the City of Aurora, along Southshore Parkway. Utility improvements include potable water line. Roadway improvements include curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt and concrete pavement, pavement markings, and signage. Drainage improvements include grading, erosion control, storm sewer, and channel improvements.
Sealed bids will be received at JR Engineering located at 7200 South Alton Way, Suite C400, Centennial, CO 80112 for the services referenced above until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date the bids are opened.
The bids shall be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “Bid for Southshore Parkway Completion” and should state the name and address of the bidder. The entire contract and specifications documents shall be submitted with the bid.
No proposals will be considered which are received after the time mentioned and any proposals so received shall be returned to the submitter and not be considered under any circumstances. Sole responsibility rests with the submitter to see that their proposal is received on time at the stated location.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at JR Engineering, located at 7200 S. Alton Way, Centennial, CO 80112. All bidders are invited to attend.
Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bidding Documents payable to the District for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. The Bid Bond will be retained by the District as liquidated damages should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the District in accordance with the Bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond on the forms provided in the Contract Documents, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. A bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish a certificate of specified insurance.
Owner's Rights Reserved. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid, to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not exceeding forty-five (45) days after the Bid opening, all according to the best interests of the Owner.
