SAN LUIS RESERVOIR STATE RECREATION AREA – Basalt Lift Station Replacement

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Department of Parks and Recreation, One Capitol Mall, Suite 410, Sacramento, California 95814, up to 2 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for performing the work as follows:

 

Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove and replace existing sewer lift station and appurtenances in San Luis Basalt Campground at SAN LUIS RESERVOIR SRA in Merced County, California, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore and such addenda thereto as may be issued prior to bid opening date.

 

License required:  A and/or B; Engineer's Estimate:  $300,000 to $700,000

 

NOTE: A job showing will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at State Park Office, 31426 Gonzaga Road, Gustine, CA 95310 in Merced County. Attendance at the job showing is NOT MANDATORY.

 

In the case where bidders are not able to attend the job showing, arrangements can be made, to view the site conditions during regular park hours, by contacting the District directly.  Bidders are encouraged to attend the scheduled pre-bid job showing as subsequently scheduled visits are subject to the availability of local District personnel.  With or without visiting and/or viewing the jobsite, bidders are held responsible to know the conditions of the site and any constraints involving the project work.  District’s contact info is below:

The bidder agrees to complete all work within ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work. 

 

Instructions to Download Bid Package:  Prospective bidders may examine and obtain the bid forms, specifications, plans and addenda (if any) by downloading this bid package from the Department of General Services’ (DGS) website at:  https://caleprocure.ca.gov. At the website go to Quicklinks and select View/Search Bids. In the Event Name field enter: “C19E0018” and click on the “Search” button to view the full advertisement and bid documents. 

 

Questions and Answers:  Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meaning shall be brought to the State's attention by including your questions directly on to Merrilee.Byrnes@parks.ca.govNO LATER THAN 2 p.m., seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening date.  Answers will be provided by Addendum which is within the Bid Solicitation located on the DGS website stated above.

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 of the Labor Code, the Department has ascertained that the general prevailing rate of wages in the county in which the work to be done be as listed by the Department of Industrial Relations (415) 703-4780.  A copy of this listing is on file at the address listed above or at www.dir.ca.gov.

 

Successful bidder shall provide Payment Bond and Performance Bond.
