AHA Request for Proposal (RFP)

The Affordable Housing Alliance has developed $40 million dollars of real estate including 150 rental units in 2018. Upcoming bidding is opening up for an analysis of the Affordable Housing Alliance Grandview.  This project will be an evaluation to determine what repair and capital improvement work is to be done, and what the estimated cost of those improvements will be.  The project scope of work is to be a total building’s structural condition, window lentils, AC system specifically the condensing lines, stability of subfloors, condition of spray foam insulation in crawl space, count and condition of exterior building lights, and recommendation of alternatives for the building facade.

 

The Architect, Professional Engineer will work closely with AHA staff.  Additionally, a previously commissioned analysis was conducted by AHA, which will be made available to the successful proposer.  Any recommendations that are made shall include an analysis of the problem or anticipated concerns, methods for repair or prevention, plans, drawings, and cost estimates for the recommendation.  Bid packages will be provided with requirements and specifications and available for pickup between November 4th  – 8th , 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:30pm at the AHA office, located at 3535 Route 66, Bldg.4, Neptune, NJ.  Bidders please include a $25 “refundable” deposit.  All BIDS must be received by 3:00 pm  November 27, 2019 to be considered.   Proposer must be registered in New Jersey as an Architect, Professional Engineer or eligibility through reciprocity with another state.  Must have Insurance (minimum of $1M for General Liability and $500K for Workers Comp).  Must comply with all safety requirements as set forth by the NJ Builders Code and all applicable OSHA Standards.
