INVITATION TO BID

 

Sealed Competitive Proposals will be received by East Cherry Creek Valley Water & Sanitation District for the Zone 3 Booster Pump Station Electrical Upgrades Project, Phase 2 at the District offices, 6201 S. Gun Club Road, Aurora, CO 80016 at 11:00 a.m. on December 17, 2019.

 

A pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on November 21, 2019 at ECCV’s offices.  Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project.  

 

The work generally consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, accessories, and labor for performing all operations necessary to install an automatic transfer switch (ATS), switchboard and other miscellaneous improvements at the Zone 3 Booster Pump Station, and an ATS at the ECCV Administration Building.  The primary purpose of this project is to provide a back-up power supply source for the Administration Building from the existing generator at the Zone 3 Booster Pump Station.

 

Contract Documents, complete with plans and specifications, may be obtained electronically starting on November 18, 2019 at www.eccv.org under the Resources and Information menu by clicking on Request for Bids.  The user will then enter the bid number 6583643 into the search field and click the search button to find the project.  A 10 percent bid bond or certified check payable to East Cherry Creek Valley Water & Sanitation District shall be submitted with each proposal.

 

The Bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish “Performance and Maintenance” and “Labor and Material Payment” bonds to the District.  The “Performance and Maintenance” and “Labor and Material Payment” bonds shall be furnished in the amount of 100 percent of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

 

The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept that proposal or combination of proposals, if any, which in its sole and absolute judgment, will under all circumstances best serve the District’s interest.  No proposal will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the District Board of Directors.

 

No proposals will be considered which are received after the time indicated above, and any proposals so received after the scheduled closing time shall be returned to the bidder unopened.
