ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS


Napa earthquake repairs-three historic buildings

Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for:  Major components of Project Work consist of repairing three historic buildings including but not limited to: demolition, plaster repair, painting, framing, mechanical electrical and plumbing repair, structural steel erection masonry repair, asphalt and concrete and related work.

License required to bid the project: B

 

Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.

 

Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre‑bid site inspection tour on December 10, 2019 at 9:30 A.M at Napa State Hospital, Plant Operations, located at 2100 Napa Vallejo Highway, Napa, CA. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. The DVBE participation requirement for this project is 3%.  Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion. 

 

Security Clearance:  Bidders’ attention is directed to the deadline to contact Meredith Harvan, Project Director, at (916) 376-3819 no later than 4:00 P.M., December 2, 2019 and provide (1) full name, (2) telephone number, (3) Social Security Number, (4) Identification Number or California Drivers License Number and expiration year, and (5) date of birth; for security clearance to enter Institution.  Khaki, tan, olive green, brown, camouflage clothing, will not be allowed. See Document 01 35 54, Hospital Project Procedures, for additional requirements.

 

Bid forms will be available for download at the plan room website identified below or at http://www.caleprocure.ca.gov/. Click on Get Public Procurement Information and then See Current Bids. In the Event name field, enter the project number and click search. While viewing the Event Details, click on View Event Package to view bid forms.
