Candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years field and office experience. Experience with deep excavations with varying geotechnical conditions and knowing how to handle/estimate these conditions is a requirement. Candidate should have the ability to develop shoring designs/plans/quantities with preliminary calculations to facilitate the overall accuracy of the project estimate.
Candidate must have the ability to work with other estimating disciplines (mechanical, underground and site work) to help plan the overall project sequence and final cost estimate. Having working knowledge of typical estimating and design software programs (HCSS, Hard Dollar and Micro Station) would also be a plus.
