The Facility Planning, Construction and Management Division has divided the state of California into two geographic regions: Northern and Southern California and will issue separate Agreements for each region. See Attachment F – Regional Map for the geographic areas covered by each region.

The responsible party shall be a Fire Protection Engineer licensed to practice in the state of California and all work shall be performed under and approved by a licensed design professional.  The selected firm shall provide professional Fire Protection Engineering Services on an                 “as-needed” basis and shall provide designs (plans and specifications) and field investigations pertaining to, but not be limited to, all types of Fire Resistant Building Materials, Fire Detection Systems, and Fire Suppression Systems.

CDCR anticipates selecting a firm to provide the required Professional Fire Protection Engineering Services with funding anticipated to begin in Fiscal Year 2019/2020 and concluding in Fiscal Year 2024/2025 assuming no budget delays are encountered to obtain future funding.
