Lowell High School Library Modernization Re-Bid

Argo Construction, Inc. as a “GENERAL CONTRACTOR” is requesting quotations on “ALL TRADES“ from all qualified subcontractors & suppliers, including DVBE.

 

Scope of Work: Modernization of exiting school library and adjacent rooms. Demolition work includes, but not limited to: hazardous materials abatement; selective demolition of existing flooring, lighting, folding partitions, suspended ceiling system, roofing, bookcases, rooftop mechanical HVAC unit and pad, ductwork, power poles and electrical systems. New work includes, but not limited to: metal stud framing, rough and finish carpentry, roofing repairs, insulation, metal flashings, joint sealants, interior storefront and windows, wood doors, door hardware, glazing, drywall, resilient flooring, ceiling panel system, painting, marker/tack  boards, operable partitions, modular book casework, HVAC unit and duct work, HVAC controls, electrical power and low voltage upgrades, lighting, data communication, fire detection system upgrades, and audio-visual equipment and infrastructure that includes speakers, TV flat screen monitors, projectors, motorized projection screens. This project also involves one bid alternate at library area: expose underside of structural roof deck and alternate new work includes: concrete sealers, acoustical panels, suspended light fixtures, low voltage power (fire alarm, data) reconfiguration for exposed ceiling conditions
