Webcor Builders seeks responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from all qualified Trade Subcontractors and DVBE subcontractors interested in bidding on the following trades: EARTHWORK - CLEARING, GRADING & PAVING; UTILITIES; SITE CONCRETE; STRUCTURAL CONCRETE; UNIT MASONRY; MISC. METALS; METAL DECKING; ARCHITECTURAL WOODWORK (MILLWORK & CASEWORK); ROOFING AND WATERPROOFING; CAULKING & JOINT SEALANTS; EXTERIOR METAL WALL PANELING; ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL & LOUVERS; CEMENTITIOUS FIREPROOFING; DOORS, FRAMES & HARDWARE; COILING DOORS; FOLDING PARTITIONS; PAINTING AND WALL COVERINGS; ACOUSTIC AND SPECIALTY CEILINGS; FLOORING; TILING AND COUNTERTOPS; SIGNAGE; DIVISION 10 SPECIALTIES; FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT; COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY, DRY CLEANING, & WASTE COMPACTOR EQUIPMENT; WINDOW TREATMENT; AUDITORIUM SEATING; Including the following Design/Build or Design/Assist Trade Packages: STAIRS & RAILINGS; STRUCTURAL STEEL; EXTERIOR METAL SUPPORT, DRYWALL & FRAMING; CURTAIN WALLS, GLASS & GLAZING; STADIUM SEATING; IRRIGATION & LANDSCAPE; THERAPY POOLS; ELEVATORS; FIRE SUPPRESSION; MECHANICAL (PLUMBING & HVAC); ELECTRICAL, STADIUM LIGHTING AND LOW VOLTAGE; of work on the contract for the Spartan Athletics Center located in San Jose, California.
The Progressive Design/Build project for San Jose State University consists of an approximate 65,000 GSF multi-story athletics Center located on the existing Spartans Stadium site. The project design, including bridging documents for Design Build Trades (DB) is in process. Anticipated start of Construction is May 2021.
Webcor Builders seeks Trade Subcontractors with significant experience in public works, education, and CSU projects. Trade Subcontractors that are evaluated and deemed pre-qualified to perform work will be invited to submit a bid(s) for Trade Packages. The information shall include general and specific experience, claim and surety history, financials, ability to meet schedule and budget requirements, experience in management and coordination, and requisite experience on projects of similar size, scope and complexity. Trade Subcontractors who do not submit the pre-qualification information will not be permitted to bid the project.
Trade Subcontractors must hold valid contractor licenses, be registered with the DIR and must provide the ability to obtain corporate surety (payment & performance) bonds, and insurance, if requested, in order to be eligible for the pre-qualification (RFQ) evaluation.
