NEW SKILLED NURSING FACILITY

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS

VETERANS HOME OF CALIFORNIA – YOUNTVILLE

YOUNTVILLE, NAPA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

 

Provide professional architectural and engineering services for the plan and specification (peer) review of the Veterans Home of California Yountville.  The Peer Review will enable the Department of General Services (DGS) to self-certify the project in-lieu of utilizing the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) staff.  In addition, the contractor will be responsible for the review of Design-Build entity’s architectural, civil, geotechnical, landscape, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, telecommunications (telephone & data systems), security (CCTV, elopement systems & card access systems), hazardous materials, and food service design drawings and specifications for compatibility, coordination and constructability and will report such findings to the state. The contractor shall also validate compliance with all applicable codes, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, and standards including, but not limited to, OSHPD requirements and DHS licensing requirements (Title 22).

 

All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California.

 

The estimated cost of construction for the project value is $286,000,000.00. The estimated duration of this contract will be three (3) years.
