REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Webcor Builders seeks responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from all qualified Trade Subcontractors and DVBE subcontractors interested in bidding on the following trades: UNIT MASONRY; ROOFING AND WATERPROOFING; ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL & LOUVERS; COILING DOORS; FOLDING PARTITIONS; PAINTING AND WALL COVERINGS; ACOUSTIC AND SPECIALTY CEILINGS; FLOORING; TILING AND COUNTERTOPS; FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT; WINDOW TREATMENT; EARTHWORK - CLEARING, GRADING & PAVING; AUDITORIUM SEATING; UTILITIES; PLASTER; LOCKERS AND BENCHES; FENCING; FINAL CLEANING; Including the following Design/Build or Design/Assist Trade Packages: CURTAIN WALLS, GLASS & GLAZING of work on the contract for the Spartan Athletics Center located in San Jose, California.
The Progressive Design/Build project for San Jose State University consists of an approximate 54,800 GSF multi-story athletics Center located on the existing Spartans Stadium site. The project design, including bridging documents for Design Build Trades (DB) is in process. Anticipated start of Construction is July 2021.
Webcor Builders seeks Trade Subcontractors with significant experience in public works, education, and CSU projects. Trade Subcontractors that are evaluated and deemed pre-qualified to perform work will be invited to submit a bid(s) for Trade Packages. The information shall include general and specific experience, claim and surety history, financials, ability to meet schedule and budget requirements, experience in management and coordination, and requisite experience on projects of similar size, scope and complexity. Trade Subcontractors who do not submit the pre-qualification information will not be permitted to bid the project.
Trade Subcontractors must hold valid contractor licenses, be registered with the DIR and must provide the ability to obtain corporate surety (payment & performance) bonds, and insurance, if requested, in order to be eligible for the pre-qualification (RFQ) evaluation. This project is subject to the General Prevailing Wages, see http://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm

Subcontractors shall submit prequalification documentation no later than 5:00PM on DECEMBER 14, 2020.
The evaluation of the RFQ is solely for the purpose of determining Trade Subcontractors who would be deemed qualified to bid on and perform the work outlined in this RFQ.
Webcor Builders reserves the right to reject any or all responses and to waive technical errors in any response received.
