Notice Summary:

Build Group, Inc. is requesting subcontractor bids from all Certified / Qualified  subcontractors’ and material suppliers for the following project:

 

This is a prevailing wage project

 

UC Berkeley – DM Stephens Hall Envelope Improvements

Owner: UC Berkeley Capital Projects

Location: UC Berkeley, Berkeley CA

Bid Date & Time: 11/2/21 @ 1PM

Scope of Work: Strip all coatings from building down to the original substrate, remove and replace loose areas of parge coat, repair concrete spalls in underlying structure and decorative details, repair windows and deteriorated interior trim and paint, and re-coat exterior with elastomeric coating. Coating removal is listed as hazardous material abatement.

Please provide alternates & unit prices per the requirement below.

Alternates

Alternate No.1 - Remove existing infill material in prime location as shown on drawing A2.7. Provide and install new perforated parapet panels.

Alternate No.2 - Remove existing infill material in all original locations as shown on drawing A2.7. Provide and install new perforated parapet panels.

Unit Prices:

Unit Price No. 1:  Provide price for parge coat repair and replacement. Per square foot.

Unit Price No. 2: Provide price for concrete epoxy injection.  Per linear foot.

Unit Price No. 3: Provide price for wood window dutchman repair. Per Unit.

Unit Price No. 4:  Provide price for wood window corner pinning. Per corner

Unit Price No. 5: Architectural precast concrete ornamental parapet panel “Number 8” of the panel schedule. Per panel

Unit Price No. 6: Architectural precast concrete ornamental parapet panel “Number 9” of the panel schedule. Per panel.

Unit Price No. 7: Price price for joint sealant. Per linear foot.

Unit Price No. 8:  Provide price for silicone elastomeric coating. Per square foot.

Unit Price No. 9: Provide paint removal and cleaning on existing cast-in-place concrete. Per square foot.

Unit Price No. 10: Provide price for decorative concrete reconstruction/spall repair. Per square foot.

Unit Price No. 11: Provide price for terracotta inll block repair. Per square foot.
