NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE FIRMS
Architectural & Engineering (A&E) Retainer - Regional

The Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), is requesting submissions from professional Firms services for a retainer contract that will be used on an as-needed basis. FMD is procuring A&E services throughout the state in six (6) disciplines including General, Mechanical, Electrical, Elevator, Waterproofing/Roof and Fire Life Safety for projects to be identified in the future during the term of the contract. Basic services to be provided include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, budget packages, access compliance (ADA), building code analysis, ZNE, LEED, SITES, preliminary plans, working drawings, studies, cost estimates, assessments, schematics, bidding support and construction administration support.
Related services may include but will not be limited to, providing hazardous materials assessments, surveys, reports, abatement design plans/specifications, cost estimates and air monitoring associated with the above work.
Task Orders for specific projects will be prepared and issued on an as-needed basis for each retainer contract. The State anticipates five-year terms for the Retainer Agreements. The State does not guarantee that any Task Orders will be made under the agreements during the contract period to the selected firms(s). The state anticipates to award one (1) retainer contract for each of the six (6) disciplines in each of the eight (8) regions identified in the RFQ. A Firm may be awarded contracts in multiple disciplines and regions.
