REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
AS NEEDED SEWER MAINTENANCE, TECHNICAL TRAINING SERVICES
It is the intent of the City of Oakland, Oakland Public Works Department, to establish multiple as needed contracts to provide professional training services to Oakland Sewer Maintenance Leaders and Sewer Maintenance Workers. Training services may include technical training on sewer maintenance and cleaning equipment such as operation of hydro flushing and power rodding equipment; preparation classes for CWEA Wastewater Certification of all grades; PACP and MACP training, certification and recertification classes; Provide training for Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) response, volume estimation, SSO hands-on drills, and CIWQS training on LRO and Data submitters. Prepare Pump Station Emergency Response Plans (PSERP) for 11 sanitary sewer lift stations, along with classroom/online trainings on PSERP and Pump Station Operations.
No meeting will be scheduled.
Questions Due: 2:00 PM, May 5, 2022 by email to the Project Manager designated in the Contact Information section. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to ensure that the email has been received. Any addendum that materially changes the RFQ solicitation shall be issued no less than 72 hours before the submittal deadline, unless the deadline is extended by said addendum.
Statement of Qualifications Due: 2:00 PM, May 26, 2022 Statement of Qualifications (“SOQs”) must be submitted electronically via email to the designated Project Manager and Capital Contracts Division representative as specified in the Contact Information section below.
Oakland-certified Local Business Requirement: 50% minimum participation. Firms unable to attend a voluntary pre-proposal/pre-submittal meeting are encouraged to contact the assigned Contract Compliance Officer to review the City’s Local and Small Local Business Enterprise (L/SLBE) program. See also Section IV. Policies and Programs. Prime consultants should verify the L/ SLBE status of their sub-consultants prior to submittal.
Contract Term and Amount: Three (3) years. The anticipated contract not-to-exceed amount is $95,000.00 for each contract.
