MBTA Contract No. R99CN01 CODMAN YARD EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Scope Letters are requested by Close of Business on Wednesday, June 01, 2022.

Quotes are requested by close of business day on Tuesday, June 07, 2022,  so that all bids can be fairly evaluated.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has established utilization goals of more than 20% for this contract.

Performance/Payment/Supply Bonds May Be Required.

This advertisement is in response to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE). Herzog Contracting Corp. intends to conduct itself in “Good Faith” with DBE firms regarding participation on this project. Herzog Contracting Corp. will divide the work into smaller units to increase the opportunities for participation. Assistance is available in obtaining bonds, insurance, lines of credit, necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related assistance or services. Please submit bids for the following work (but not limited to):

Clear & Grub, site demo, earthwork, utilities, drainage, aggregates, trucking, asphalt pavement, erosion control, structural concrete, structural concrete rehab, structural steel, rebar, fencing, hazardous materials, asbestos abatement, geotextile materials, rail materials, ready mix supply, signage, striping, street sweeping, survey, traffic control, QC testing, to name a few. Refer to plans and specifications for further details.

Please note, only firms that have been certified by the Massachusetts Unified Certification Program (“MassUCP”) and confirmed by the Authority as eligible in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26 to participate as DBEs on federally aided Authority contracts may be used on this contract for
