THIS IS A PREVAILING WAGE PROJECT
Project Description: Friendship Campus 3.25-acre state-of-the-art education campus providing educational services, vocational training, and life-skills to those with development disabilities. The new Campus, developed in cooperation with Redondo Beach Unified School District, will include a 55,000 square ft. facility to develop an engaging and inviting environment for the entire community. Friendship Educational Foundation will focus on serving the whole individual with talent and skill building; personal growth and development programs; social and emotional wellness; healthy lifestyle habits and physical fitness; job training and exploration programs. Vocational and job training programs will include technology, media, hospitality, retail, culinary, office, education, trades, and landscaping.

- The project is subject to the California Prevailing Wage Law, as set forth in California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq. and all applicable regulations and official determination of the California Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”). All contractors and subcontractors on the Project are required to be registered with the DIR as a public works contractor and familiar with all applicable requirements of Prevailing Wage Law, including without limitation the obligation to pay prevailing wages to all workers performing work on the Project, the obligation to comply with applicable apprenticeship requirements, and the obligation to timely submit certified payroll records to the DIR evidencing compliance with same.
