Project Description:

The proposed project consists of the construction of a new 2-story facility housing:

-Gathering/assembly spaces

-General use classrooms

-Vocational training, including labs/shops

-Faculty offices

The building will be constructed using Type IIB construction and will house A, B, S-1 and F-1 occupancies.  

The new construction shall be fully sprinkled.

Sitework, including parking, hardscape, and softscape is included. See civil and landscape sheets.

The project includes the demolition of existing buildings on-site. See civil sheets and A1.01.

Project is not located in a wildland-urban fire interface area. Chapter 7a is not applicable.

Project Schedule:  Expected start September 2022 and complete September 2024.

• This is a Public Works project.  Subcontractor must be registered with the CA Department of Industrial Relations before submitting a bid.  Application and renewal are completed online with an annual, non-refundable fee.
• This is a Prevailing Wage project.
• MEPS trades must be prequalified with the District.

We reserve the right to require all subcontractors to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds from a U.S. Treasury-listed surety. Premium cost to be included as a separate item. At our discretion, a bid bond and/or letter of bondability from a U.S. Treasury-listed surety may be required within 48 hours of demand
