more than 30% for this contract.

This advertisement is in response to the Chicago Transportation Authority Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE). Herzog Contracting Corp. intends to conduct itself in “Good Faith” with DBE firms regarding participation on this project. Herzog Contracting Corp. will divide the work into smaller units to increase the opportunities for participation. Assistance is available in obtaining bonds, insurance, lines of credit, necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related assistance or services. Please submit bids for the following work (but not limited to):

Clear & Grub, Site, Structure and Building Demo, Electrical, Plumbing, & Jack and Bore, Earthwork, Utilities, Drainage, Aggregates, Granite Ballast and Subballast, Special Trackwork Materials,  Track Geometry and Rail Grinding, Structural Concrete and Flatwork Concrete, Systems, Traction Power, Ductbank, Signal and Communications, Testing and Commissioning, Drilling, Shoring, Structural Steel, ITS and Lighting, Precast Concrete Materials, Piping Materials, Crack Injection for Crack Repair in Tunnels, Asphalt Pavement, Erosion Control, Rebar, Fencing, Hazardous Materials and Abatement, Geotextile Materials, Ready Mix supply, Signage, Striping, Street Sweeping, Survey, Traffic Control, QC Testing, Vacuum and Pump Truck, Flagging, Time-Lapse Camera Video Program.   Refer to plans and specifications for further details.

Please note, only firms that have been certified by the Illinois Unified Certification Program (“IL UCP”) and confirmed by the Authority as eligible in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26 to   participate as DBEs on federally aided Authority contracts may be used on this contract for
