ELK GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/PROPOSAL TO PERFORM

LEASE-LEASEBACK CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE

ROBERT L. TRIGG EDUCATION CENTER, REMODEL

 

The Elk Grove Unified School District (“District”) is requesting a Statement of Qualifications/Proposal (SOQ/P) from Contractors holding a Class B license, to perform Lease-Leaseback construction services for the Robert L. Trigg Education Center, Remodel project. 

 

If your firm is interested in being considered for this project, the submittal requirements and deadline for SOQ/P responses are as follows:

 

  • Electronic copy in PDF format of a completed SOQ/P, submitted thru Dropbox
  • As part of this RFQ, all participants must complete a Pre-qualification Application, if you have not already
  • SOQ/P packet, and Pre-qualification Application can be accessed at www.egusdplans.com
  • Completed SOQ/P must be received no later than Friday, March 10, 2023, by 4:00 p.m. 

 

The District will not review submittals received after the time and date above.  Facsimile (FAX) copies of the SOQ/P will not be accepted. The Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any and all SOQ/P, to negotiate with any and all-responsible firms, and to waive any informality in the process. The District is not responsible for any expenses related to the preparation or presentation of the SOQ/P, including travel costs. The SOQ/P may be withdrawn at any time prior to the closing date and time for receipt of SOQ/P.

 

In order to control information disseminated regarding this SOQ/P, firms interested in submitting SOQ/P are directed not to make personal contact with members of the Governing Board or District Administration with the exception of the individual, or department staff listed on the SOQ/P packet.  This includes unauthorized visits to District-educating facilities.

 

In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. payment of the appropriate general prevailing rate of wages for all crafts employed on the public works site is required of the Contractor and all subcontractors.  This project has a goal of 3% Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation per the State Allocation Board requirements.  Compliance with California Education Code Section 45125.1 mandating fingerprinting requirements applies to this project.
