NOTICE is hereby given that Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will receive Bids until October 2, 2023 at 3:00 PM, for the above project.

For purposes of this Contract, work consists of the decommissioning of five remediation wells and three remediation trenches constructed of non-standard material. Decommissioning activities include utility location, cleaning of wells containing sediment prior to decommissioning, demolition of wellhead vaults and monuments, confirmation borings in trenches and restoration of existing pavement. Well decommissioning activities must be performed by a C-57 licensed Well Drilling Contractor.

The time limit for completion of all Work is 183 calendar days. The estimated cost for the Project is in the range of $430,000.00 to $580,000.00.

The Bidder itself, as the prime contractor, must possess a California issued Class A (General Engineering Contractor), HAZ (Hazardous Substance Removal Certification), C57 (Well Drilling) and C-61/D-30 (Limited Specialty- Pile Driving and Pressure Foundation Jacking).

The license requirement cannot be satisfied merely by identifying a subcontractor with the required licenses.
