FOR: INELL WOODS PARK PROJECT

Heal the Bay in conjunction with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks invites contractors possessing a Class A or B license, to construct the Inell Woods Park located at 8703 McKinley Avenue in South Los Angeles, CA 90002. The project is located in City of Los Angeles Council District 9. This project includes but is not limited to B Permit improvements, Street Lighting, park improvements including perimeter fencing, wood sign, play and exercise equipment with resilient surfacing, game tables & benches, hydration station, trash receptacles, irrigation, trees, sod and landscaping, permeable pavement, Permavoid BMP, new electrical service pedestal, park lighting and security. Inell Woods Park project is funded by CA State Parks, City of Los Angeles , US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Bonneville Environmental Fund, Resources Legacy Fund, Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly Mitchell. It is a State of California prevailing wage opportunity, and the successful bidder must, to the extent feasible, provide job training, employment, and contracting opportunities for low- or very-low income residents pursuant to 24 CFR Part 75. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting and job walk on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 8703 McKinley Avenue in South Los Angeles, CA 90002. The contractor or its representative must attend the meeting in person. Bids are due at 10:00 am on October 27, 2023 at the Heal the Bay office at 1444 9^th St, Santa Monica CA 90401.
