Invitation to Bid and Request for Qualification

Notice is hereby given that bids and qualification packages will be received on Thursday, October 19^th, 2023 at 2:00pm by Skanska USA Building (for Jackson Health System) for the following independent Jackson Memorial Hospital project:

Jackson Memorial Hospital – ED Expansion and Renovation (Buyout Group #4)

Project specific forms and SEALED BID Responses and SEALED Qualification Packages on the appropriate forms provided by Skanska must be submitted via the Building Connected Platform by Thursday, October 19^th, 2023 at 2:00pm. Packages received after the established date and time will not be considered. All bidders must be prequalified with Skanska for consideration of award. Contact Teresa Zhou (teresa.zhou@skanska.com) to request bid documents and any questions on all bidding information.

Be advised that Bid Package 01n - Professional Survey Service will Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with reference to proposals for surveying services with a notation that 01n will be selected based on qualifications. Submission of the qualification package must be electronic through Building Connected for consideration. The RFQ criteria will be include as part of the Bid Manual.

The Bid Manual and supplemental documentation will be distributed via Building Connected. Bid packages included for this solicitation are as follows:

Skanska is committed to supporting the economic development of Miami-Dade County small businesses through the SBE – C and SBE-G/S program.  Miami-Dade County certified "small" business entities are encouraged to submit bid proposals. All Trade Partners interested in bidding this project will need to have gone through Skanska's prequalification process. Each Trade Partner is to identify their 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, tier SBE participants at bid solicitation.

Each Trade Partner is to provide a resume of prior health care experience with point of contact.

Please confirm that you have included the office of inspector general fee in your bid.

Please confirm that you have read and understand wage & classification requirements associated with the Miami Dade Responsible Wage Act 2023.

All non-SBE Trade Partners are recommended to provide a plan to achieve participation of 32.77% SBE-C contribution and of 0.25% SBE-G/S contribution of their Bid value.
