MATERIAL TESTING AND INSPECTION SERVICES (MT&IS) RETAINER

VARIOUS CLIENT AGENCIES

NORTHERN, SOUTHERN, & COASTAL CALIFORNIA

 

Provide professional Material Testing and Inspection Services for various State projects in locations throughout California on an as-needed basis.   

 

Projects may involve new, addition, renovation, or remodel projects.  Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, testing and retesting, equipment, transportation, insurance, and every item of expense necessary to perform shop fabrication, construction field, and laboratory testing and inspection services as requested by DGS’s authorized representative in accordance with the project design documents (plans and specifications), construction processes and applicable Codes.

 

The responsible party shall be an architect or engineer licensed to practice in the State of California (CA) and all work shall be performed under and approved by a licensed design professional.  Consultants work may require the participation of other engineering related disciplines such as, but not limited to, civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural.

 

The estimated retainer contract value is $ 5,000,000.00. The estimated duration of this contract will be 5 years.

Hard copy Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be submitted by mail (hand delivered or dropped off SOQs will NOT be accepted) and must be postmarked no later than the deadline and at the location below.
