PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project includes a 5-mile-long tunnel, extending from the terminus south of the recently opened Berryessa/North San José Station, through downtown San José along Santa Clara St., to the planned Newhall Maintenance Facility in the City of Santa Clara.
KSTJV seeks Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) businesses for various scopes to support Tunnel Construction. Scopes may include, and are not limited to:

Non-DBE firms are encouraged to contract with a group of lower tier DBE/SBEsor individual DBE/SBEs.

From there, KSTJV will align the company capabilities to the bid packages. If there is a match, your company will be invited into the bid dashboard of the relevant bid package.
Subcontractors must possess & provide valid current California Contractor’s License and DIR Registration numbers.
Compliance to federal requirement includes, but is not limited to:
Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) requirements
American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements
Build America Buy America (BABA) requirements
Davis-Bacon Act and California Prevailing Wage requirements
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (40 CFR Part 33) requirements
All successful bidders must comply with the Project Labor Agreement and provide proof of applicable insurance and bonding capability. Further information will be provided in the bidding documents.
