REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Rio Water Supply Corporation (WSC) is requesting proposals on the following contract funded by the USDA Rural Development Rural Utilities Service:

306C Colonia Water Distribution Improvement Project – Phase 3 - 1.0 MGD Package Water Treatment Plant Equipment and Services

Notice is hereby given that Rio Water Supply Corporation is now calling for proposals for the procurement of packaged 1.0 MGD Water Treatment Plant engineering data, calculations, and drawings for the purpose of finalizing the engineering design for its construction project that is part of their 306C Colonia Water Distribution Improvement Project – Phase 3 funded by USDA Rural Development. This procurement consists of supplying the following:

1. Supplying required engineering data and calculations necessary for TCEQ and funding agency approval of the packaged water treatment plant.

2. Supplying engineering drawings of the packaged water treatment plant necessary for TCEQ and funding agency review and approval.

Upon successful approval by TCEQ and loan/grant closing with the funding agency, the selected package water treatment plant manufacturer shall enter into a contract with the selected general construction contractor who will be responsible for payment of the equipment, shipping, installation, commissioning and training. These items shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and TCEQ regulations for Surface Water Treatment Plants.

Proposals are due no later than 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the office of Rio WSC located at 42 N. Suntex Road, Rio Grande City, Texas, 78582. Proposals received after the stipulated time will not be considered. A full copy of the request for proposals including project scope, specifications and other information that interested applicants may need in order to respond to the request may be obtained from:

Copies of the Contract Documents and Specifications can be acquired by contacting Camp Engineering, LLC at (956) 375-7655. Copies can be emailed, mailed or can be picked up upon

official request via email to campengineering2@gmail.com. Hard Copies can be produced for a fee of $25.00. Please make checks payable to Camp Engineering, LLC and allow a 2-day lead time for production. No refunds will be made.

Rio WSC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to negotiate with any firm, to waive irregularities, formalities, to require financial statements and references, and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the Corporation.
