We are soliciting quotations for the following:

Ranger Pipelines is seeking DBE companies to submit quotes for any scope of work/bid items relevant to this project that they are classified to perform. Please see the bid items listed on Caltrans site for more information. In addition to the listed bid items, Ranger Pipelines is seeking quotes for construction rentals, miscellaneous construction supplies and trucking rates. We will consider subcontracting any scopes of work quoted by interested companies.

General Work Description:

Drainage system upgrades and slope stabilization at inlets & outlets.

The Contractor must have either a Class A license or any combination of the following Class C licenses which constitutes

majority of the work: C-42, C-12, C-8. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract.

No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for the project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a).

This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.

Subcontractors on this project will be required to comply with all applicable state, county, and other applicable federal regulations. These requirements are explained in the project specifications.

We encourage subcontractors submitting quotes to utilize other DBE-certified firms through
second-tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of supplies.
