1.    Contractor’s License Required for the Work: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractors with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work; OR, C-10 Electrical Contractor or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work; in addition, Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C10 or C-7 licensed and Belden Certified contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.

The Project is generally described as including but not limited to: Technology and data upgrades that include but are not limited to the demolition of the existing MDF racks in Room 123 and the existing IDF racks in room 104A. A new MDF build-out in Room 123 and a new IDF build-out in room 104A, with additional electrical work to accommodate expansion; upgrading HVAC system; a reinforced concrete pad to support HVAC system; new data network equipment and connections to accommodate expanded technology requirements affecting the main building, classrooms, administrative offices, corridors, other service areas; installation of data, wireless and phone network equipment and systems; network racks and equipment with associated conduit, cabling, fiber, electrical wiring, and panels; demolition and removal of abandoned equipment and hazardous material removal.

The estimated construction is $902,195.00 

Prevailing Wage: The work described is pursuant to California Labor Codes 1770 and 1771.

Job-Walks. There will be two job walks as indicated below. Attendance at one of the job walks is a MANDATORY requirement to bid for General Contractors. All attendees are required to sign-in to be acknowledged to be in attendance and eligible to bid.

Job Walk No: 1: November 20, 2024, 1:00 P.M.

Job Walk No: 2: November 27, 2024, 1:00 P.M

Bidders shall meet at Hilltop High School, 1325 Florida Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, where bidders shall meet at the main entrance on Florida Street at the date and time for the Job Walk.
