Notice to Bidders

Alfalfa Electric Cooperative is soliciting interested contractors who wish to bid on the following:

Contract services for 2025 projects including but not limited to: new overhead and underground construction, line maintenance, pole changes, re-insulation projects, re- conductor projects and storm damage restoration. Selected contractors will be placed on Alfalfa Electric’s bid list for consideration of all projects bid for construction. Bid proposals must include REA Construction Specification 14.4/24.9kv Unit Pricing, Hourly Rates and Storm Rates. Bid proposals must be returned to Alfalfa Electric’s office no later than February 28, 2025. Any incomplete bids will be disqualified.

Alfalfa Electric Cooperative ensures that small business enterprises (SBE), minority owned business enterprises (MBE), and women owned business enterprises (WBE) are used to the fullest extent possible, Alfalfa Electric Cooperative will require that each bidder fully comply with the requirements, terms and conditions of the Federal Policy 2 CFR part 215 and award a fair share of sub-agreements to SBE’s, MBE’s, and WBE’s. The bidder commits itself to taking affirmative actions contained herein, prior to submission of the bids or proposal assuring that SBE’s, MBE’s and WBE’s are solicited whenever they are a potential source of goods and services.
