Contractor’s License Required for the Work: Class B General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification respectively, or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.
The Project is generally described as including but not limited to: The Project is generally described as: General School Modernization and reconstruction including but not limited to: Seismic Upgrades, Fire/Life-Safety upgrades, MEP upgrades, finish replacement, hazardous material removal, selective demolition work, new 4000 amp electrical service, and work associated with interim housing units.
All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
The estimated construction value is $43,000,000.
Prevailing Wage: The work described is pursuant to California Labor Codes 1770 and 1771.
Project Labor Agreement: This project is a SFUSD 2016 Bond Program Project Labor Agreement Project
Job-Walks. There will be one job walk as indicated below. Attendance at one publicly noticed* job walk is a MANDATORY requirement to bid for General Contractors. All attendees are required to sign-in to be acknowledged to be in attendance and eligible to bid.
Job Walk No. 1 Tuesday, November 26, 2024, 2:00 P.M.
Job Walk No. 2 Tuesday, December 3, 2024, 2:00 P.M
Bidders shall meet at James Denman Middle School, 541 Oneida Ave, San Francisco, CA, 94112 at the date and time for the Job Walk. Bidders shall meet at the main entrance on Oneida Ave.
