Contractor’s License Required for the Work: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C-7 licensed contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law.
The Project is generally described as including but not limited to:
Public Address System Upgrades including associated cabling, integrated clock-bell devices, wall speakers, exterior speakers and head-end equipment at the following campuses:
- Aptos Middle School - 105 Aptos Ave, San Francisco, CA 94127
- Bessie Carmichael Middle School - 824 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA 94107
- Everett Middle School - 450 Church St, San Francisco, CA 94114
- Francisco Middle School - 2190 Powell St, San Francisco, CA 94133
- Presidio Middle School – 450 30th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121
- Rooftop Mayeda Middle School – 500 Corbett Ave, San Francisco, CA 94114
- Roosevelt Middle School - 460 Arguello Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118
Project Labor Agreement: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
The estimated construction is $5,900,000.00
Prevailing Wage: The work described is pursuant to California Labor Codes 1770 and 1771.
